A large Federal Government department providing ICT services to a large, highly dispersed workforce. In delivering these services the organisation places an emphasis on providing a dependable, secure and integrated information environment.
Challenge
This Federal Government department was required to provide a secure cloud-based hosting platform to support the deployment of a SAP-based ERP capability.
The project had aggressive timelines to meet and no available platform to deploy the ERP solution to, and no existing design pattern to follow.
Complicating matters further was the fact that the successful systems integrator had the hosting platform as a dependency on the client.

Solution
oobe was able to rapidly accelerate delivery of the cloud hosting platform for the systems integrator by delivering a Perimeta for Azure Virtual Data Centre addressing all the necessary network, identity and policy controls to operate a secure and agile hosting platform.
A key enabler was ensuring the solution was accompanied with the required design and security documentation to allow accreditation authorities to approve use for production workloads.
By delivering a pre-defined, fully accreditable Virtual Data Centre pattern, oobe empowered this multi-million-dollar programme to meet the first of its key milestones on, or before schedule attracting high praise from senior executives.
The success of the initial Perimeta for Azure Virtual Data Centre deployment has now seen oobe deliver additional Virtual Data Centres to support growth within the programme.
