How does it operate?
Kicking off in November, The oobe Experience Forums is your sanctuary—a platform to engage, express, and connect with kindred spirits. Our calendar comprises four sessions annually, each hosted in stunning local venues.
Our first program is due to kick off in Brisbane in November 2023. We will run programs in Melbourne & Sydney in 2024.
For optimal synergy and precision in our conversations, we encourage your attendance at all four sessions.
Prior to each gathering, you'll receive a concise questionnaire. The insights we glean from your responses will serve as the bedrock of our group discussions. The wisdom shared in these conversations will guide oobe in understanding your challenges, opportunities, and needs as a valued clients.

Dr Michael Wildenauer

Digital ethics, technology, law & governance

Dr Wildenauer has spent many years as a global technology leader, moving into academia at La Trobe University in Melbourne. At La Trobe Business School (LBS), he was a Professor of Practice in Management, teaching into MBA and master’s courses on the social and ethical issues around technology and business, and on corporate governance.
More recently, Michael has been involved in subject development and teaching for LBS and for the Centre for AI & Digital Ethics (CAIDE) and Melbourne Law School at the University of Melbourne.
Michael is keen to contribute to the conversations on the day and offer his expertise and guidance around the topics of ethics, technology, law and governance.
Michael will also shed light on the board's expectations and challenges regarding some of these key themes with the aim to empower all of you to better articulate your IT strategies and investments to the board and gain crucial support for your initiatives.
Shane Delia

Customer experience and loyalty
Shane Delia, award winning chef, TV host, entrepreneur, Providoor founder and director of the Delia Group, will join us for lunch to explore how creating exceptional dining experiences for his customers, foster customer loyalty.
He will also share his journey from chef to entrepreneur, discussing the key ingredients that have contributed to his success in the culinary and business worlds.
Shane will also talk about how innovation has played a crucial role in his culinary ventures and how businesses can embrace innovation to stay competitive. Discussing his experiences in expanding his culinary ventures, Shane will also provide tips for businesses looking to grow their operations regionally or globally.
All attendees will have the chance to ask Shane questions and take pictures.
Ricky Ponting

Leadership lessons from the cricket pitch
Ricky Ponting, Australian Cricketing legend, will join us for lunch and share his experiences as a cricket captain, discussing how effective leadership principles from the field can be applied to leading teams in the business world.
He will also touch on the importance of creating a winning culture within teams, drawing parallels between a cricket team's culture and a company's corporate culture.
Ricky will also share tips for achieving and maintaining peak performance in business, adapting in the face of change and handling success and overcoming failure.
All attendees will have the chance to ask Ricky questions and take pictures.
